Does that bring back painful memories of your ski boots?
Well you don't have to put up with that
anymore!
Boot manufacturers have done wonders and great things to the whole design, concept, comfort and performance of ski boots. better materials and technology mean that they can make boots that are more comfortable, more adjustable, more supportive, lighter, safer and cheaper
What do you
get?
Using the latest technology and materials means you get boots that can be stiff where need be and forgiving where they should be - for maximum control and comfort
Four clip buckles for good support, security and adjustment.
other fine tune adjustments to tweak your boots to your individual style, performance and optimum
fit
Better fitting inner boot liners for maximum warmth and comfort without reducing performance and control.
Some boots have liners that are heat fit and mould to the individual shape of your feet. from as little as £150 for boots that can be
re-moulded several times should your feet change shape.
If anybody tells you all ski boots are uncomfortable and there is no such thing as comfortable ski boots, they are wrong!
This is not a typing error!! but you really can get comfortable ski boots and for a lot less than you
think.
Here's a few tips on
how:
1. Visit Beans of Bicester
or browse our
online
shop.
2. Have at least an hour or two spare
3. Weekdays and our late night openings are best
(you may have to wait a while on Saturdays and Sundays)
4. Bring a pair of your regular ski socks
(or we have lots of clean spares )
We have boots for wide narrow small or big
feet ( up to size 15! )
The next steps are
assessing your ski ability and ski style,
measuring both feet and discussing, if any, previous boot problems or foot problems etc.
then it is trying on selected boots that are in your criteria of performance, suitability, price and where possible colour.
You should try on at least 2 to 3 different pairs to find the best fit. some boots get better and better the longer you wear them and some get worse. you should give each boot sufficient time to find out. (at this stage a tea or coffee goes down well)
If they are not quite right or you are not 100% sure we wont sell them to you. that's a
promise.
We also strongly recommend that once you have bought boots, don't put them away until your holiday. every so often wear them around the house so you can get a good feel for them and you get used to them. also if any problems occur there is time to solve the problem.
Comfort guarantee / refitting service.
Should any problems develop we can change the boots or re-fit them for you at no extra charge.
If any problems occur after you have used them we will continue to re-fit them at no extra
cost (does not include custom fit foot-beds).
If we still can not solve the problem, through re-fitting or modification we will take them back less a hire charge if used for less than one season. they must be returned with the original receipt and have not been altered or modified by any other persons.
