Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. For more details, use our page. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Switch. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet (see Credit Card Security below).
Shipping And Handling
All shipping and handling in Mainland UK is free of charge - EXCEPT SKI HIRE. Charges apply for shipments to the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Northern areas of Scotland and Orkney Isles, Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles. We will calculate these shipping charges and advise before shipping your order. For orders to the UK we will quote for delivery. We do not ship outside of the UK at this time.
Delivery Schedule
We'll ship your order right away if we have stock. Goods will normally be dispatched within 2 working days and can take up to 5 days from shipment. Deliveries will usually be made by Business Post, the Royal Mail or a courier service and their terms apply to the delivery service itself. A signature will be required. The following areas may be subject to extended delivery times: Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Northern areas of Scotland and Orkney Isles, Outer Hebrides and the Shetland Isles. We depend on manufacturers to deliver some items.
Product Availability and Specifications
Please note that all products and services, including those "on offer", are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time, including after you have placed your order. If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. In case of long delays or unavailability, you will always be notified and given the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
We always endeavour to ensure the accuracy of the information provided but, inevitably, there is the possibility of us being 'Out of Stock'. We continue to list those products that we can re-order. For some products, we buy many months in advance and cannot re-order in which case we endeavour to remove from sale as soon as we are out of stock.
Occassionally manufacturers make changes to products so they may differ slightly from the photographs and descriptions shown on this web site.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added where appropriate. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero. However, we currently do not ship outside of the UK. Our VAT Registration Number is 623796319.
Credit Card Security
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from BeansOnline.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. With the exception of wear and tear or damage, if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 7 days of delivery, with your receipt, providing it is still in its original packaging. HOWEVER, you are required to notify us before returning products. Many of our products carry the manufacturers guarantees thereafter. Nothing in the above guarantee affects your legal rights.
In the unlikely event that your product is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us in writing. In the case of non-delivery, please wait for 15 days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed. In the case of damage please contact us within 48 hours of receipt.
Your right to cancel:
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (distance selling) regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel up to 7 working days following delivery. Acceptance of cancellation is conditional on cancellation being given in writing QUOTING YOUR ORDER NUMBER and the goods being returned at the customers expense, in their original packaging and 'as new'.
